M.S.Ramaiah Medical College
Welcome to Ramaiah Medical College (RMC), established in 1979 with a vision to provide quality education to all aspiring doctors. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), RMC is a premier institution for medical studies.
Our commitment to training the next generation of doctors led to the establishment of Ramaiah Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on campus in 1984. With 1,331 beds and offering all super specialties, RMCH stands as a beacon of advanced healthcare.
Our well-equipped campus boasts the latest infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms, and cutting-edge laboratories. At RMC, we emphasize rigorous academics, clinical practice, and research to nurture well-rounded professionals.
We offer a wide array of degrees, including MBBS, MD, and MS in all specialties, DM and MCH in super specialties, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. courses. Additionally, our Physiotherapy department provides Bachelor’s (BPT), Master’s (MPT), and Ph.D. programs.
Beyond academics, we focus on a balanced approach, encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities. Our students gain practical experience in well-equipped OTs, as well as rural and urban field practice areas, learning to make independent decisions and collaborate effectively with peers from nursing, physiotherapy, and pharmacy disciplines.
RMC is proud to be a part of the esteemed Ramaiah Group of Institutions, founded by the Late Chairman, Sri. M S Ramaiah. Spanning 70 acres in Bengaluru, the group operates 21 institutions in Education and Healthcare, making a significant impact in both domains.
Join us at Ramaiah Medical College, where we shape compassionate and knowledgeable doctors, equipped to excel in their medical careers and contribute to society’s well-being.
